In spite of his poor voice acting the story is still pretty well written and spending time to read computer terminals, pick up audio logs, and doing a bit of exploring will be worthwhile. He’s very unloveable, but by the end you grow to expect his behavior. His dialogue more often than not with literally everyone is abrasive and over the top. There are secret facilities where essentially you’ll run an obstacle-course-like puzzles (to Russian techno music) to get upgrades. Getting weapon upgrades was actually one of my favorite parts of this game. Killing bosses and clearing the more difficult encounters are rewarding and memorable, and while the enemies are basically standard midway through the game there’s enough variety it doesn’t feel stale. In its current state this game is still a must-play, but if Atomic Heart is able to fix some of the quality of life glitches, this game would be a lot more memorable.įor combat I mainly used the KS-23 and the AK, and while certain mobs and bosses really eat bullets, there’s no shortage of ammo and cartridges you can create through crafting. Is there a lot of controversy about Mundfish for this game? I just finished the game, and I have to say that this was one of the better games I’ve played as of recent.Īre some of the achievements glitched right now?
